Hi

I've started a search for a GSI, 2.5 or 2.6 which ever was produced in 2002. I know that theres probably hardly any chance but Im looking for a very low mileage of around 20,000. Preferably Silver or Black. I know these cars are rare and even more so with such low mileage, but im sure theres one out there somewhere....

Yes, Vectra B im after. I think the last of them were made in 2002. I'll be looking for a month or 2 and if no luck will switch to something different...

As the B GSi 2.6 variant was very limited you'll struggle to find a 2002 plate with 20,000 miles on the clock. Anyone who does have a mega low mileage model will be looking for around £6,500 which is pricey considering the now low prices for the current C model.

You would be able to pick up a C GSi 3.2 from the same year for £7,000 or you could go for a 2000/2001 B GSi 2.5 for as little as £3,600 - £4,500

The quality of the V6 engine is top notch in all GSi models so to be honest i'd recommend that if you really want a 2.6 then keep an open mind and view some with a few more miles on the clock as you should have no major problems with it as long as the car has been well looked after with service history etc (I don't mean high mileage but say 40,000 miles)... you will pay a more realistic price and at least have a few to view and choose from.

Also, as the cam kit has to be changed every 40,000 miles often you will find on cars over 36,000 miles people have had the kits changed ready to sell so it can save you long term.
