I used to sell tv's and in all honesty id rather have a 2nd hand deacent tv than a new "budget" tv, i dont really want to spend a lot as ive got tons of stuff to buy anyway

Everyones opinions are diffrent with anything but i bought a 32" widescreen 5 years ago now and was a cheap budget one (well wasnt that cheap then to what they are now) and to be honest with you the only 1 thing that went wrong with it was about 1 year ago the front that covers the buttons fell off....When i got the tele my mate had to go one better and he got a sony one that was nearly twice the price as mine and had nothing but trouble with it, he then after 1 year bought a cheap budget one and till has it to this day with no problems, but like i said everyones opinions are diffrent..

Did you know on a slightly different aspect that Asda were selling 32" LCD sets under the brand Dual @ £600 these are the same as the Hitachi brand @ £999!!!!! Same remote etc etc.
So what I am trying to say now adays it is rare that any major brand makes their own crt TV, and use a smaller lesser known brand and rebadge it and charge you more.
