aux belt change on a 2.2 dti

howq easy is it to change the aux belt on one of these?? its slipping after having a fuel leak on it. its ok in the dry but when its wet i slips.

I'm not 100% sure but i'd say you have to remove or slacken off the tensioner pulley or something.

As for getting to it i'd say at a guess you'd have to remove the wheel & arch trim!! When i get a chance i'll dig my haynes manual out of the garage have a nosey!!

u need a 19mm socket on a breaker bar to lever the tensioner so the belt goes slack, its a 5 minute job if u have done it before, id replace the tensioner as i dont have the plastic gaurd and water gets into the spring and it seizes causing the belt to make a horrible high pitched squeal

should there be a cover over the belt as mine doesnt...
